Meyers Family
Paisley Jean Meyers was born at just 31 weeks, already facing the uphill battle of kidney failure. She is a surviving identical twin, given only a 33% chance of survival after her sister passed away at 25 weeks. Paisley spent 233 days in the NICU, fighting fiercely for her life every single day. At one year old, she was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, affecting her lower body. Now, at 2.5 years old, Paisley is awaiting a kidney transplant and hoping for the perfect donor to come forward. Every night, she undergoes 10 hours of peritoneal dialysis at home. Despite everything she has endured, Paisley is full of joy, determination, and sass—the very qualities that help her take on each challenge she faces. Thanks to ongoing therapies and her unbreakable spirit, she continues to thrive. Her family is endlessly proud of their miracle girl. This journey is far from easy, and they are deeply grateful for the continued support of their community. The love and strength of those around them help carry them through.
