This courageous mom has been battling many serious and rare health conditions for years that didn’t present until after her daughter was born. While undergoing her own health battle, Mom and Dad have learned their son has inherited the genetic tethered spinal cord condition. Their daughter has started showing red flags but is too young to know of her condition yet. Mom was placed on palliative care a year ago and was told to tell her children goodbye. They have exhausted all resources across the US, spending months and months being hospitalized. She was finally referred to a specialist in Sri Lanka and has spent many weeks there working on her complex condition.
